Cold Outreach Fastlane
Thanks for taking me up on Cold Outreach Fastlane. You’ve made a good decision. If you’re doing cold outreach today, or plan to start it tomorrow, Cold Outreach Fastlane will take you to success more quickly and comfortably.
Below, you will find 4 interviews with folks who are successfully getting clients via cold outreach right now. I’m also including the summary of an interview I did with a “convo guy” — an expert at taking an initial bit of cold outreach interest and turning that into a deal.
Listen (and read) the experience of these folks both to get ideas for your own cold outreach, and to get inspiration that it’s possible for you too, so you can persevere in the face of uncertainty.
1. Lazar Mašić
Lazar is a very young copywriter (19 years old) from Serbia. He has had a few clients in Serbia, but only started looking for clients in the UK and US markets two months ago, via cold email outreach. He’s already got two ongoing clients as a result, one for creative strategy and one for email marketing. If you wanna get in touch with Lazar, you can find him on LinkedIn here.

2. Kate Findley
Kate Findley is an experienced copywriter who works with education brands. Her previous clients include Brian Tracy, The Great Courses, as well as various universities. Kate used to hire a cold outreach agency, with good results, but then she decided to take things into her own hands. She has been getting an average of 1-2 calls per week with her ideal clients. If you wanna get in touch with Kate, you can find her on LinkedIn here.

3. Shad Arab
Shad Arab offers ORM — online reputation management services — such as removing nasty, slanderous comments or reviews of a business. He gets $12k-$18k per month in business (profit) by sending out a 3-line cold outreach email. If you wanna get in touch with Shad, you can contact him here.

4. Tom Render
Tom is a copywriter and marketing consultant. He used to work at Agora (a job he got via cold outreach, a story we cover in the interview). He then decided to strike out on his own. He has a unique take on cold outreach, and he’s used it to start client relationships worth anywhere from $20k all the way to $500k. If you wanna get in touch with Tom, you can find him here.

5. Chris Dyson
Chris has 25 years in sales, including doing several metric tons of cold calls. These days, he partners with existing businesses and pulls out new profits from their old assets (via sales campaigns such as auctions).
While Chris uses cold outreach to get many of those deals, he told me he is primarily a “convo guy” and is more interested in how to move a person along after they express tentative interest up front.
I did an interview with Chris on the topic of deals and conversations. I very unfortunately forgot to hit record. Somewhat fortunately, I noticed it pretty soon afterwards, and I could reconstruct about 80% of what Chris said thanks to my notes, the questions I was using to prompt him, and my own memory.
You can find my writeup of the things Chris had to share here. And if you wanna get in touch with Chris, write him at chris@biggreen.media and put “Bejakovic” in the subject line.
